Telangana chief K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday decided to released te notification for 3,620 police constables Driver posts for the year 2015.The permission Minister by the Chief Minister was a result of the proposal made by the Director General of Police and Commissioner Anurag Sharma Police M Mahender Reddy Hyderabad to fill the posts of drivers following the launch of new vehicles in the department.
Since the formation of Telangana state, decisions were taken by the government in favor of the police department would be implemented without delay, the Chief Minister maintained. Rao also praised the tireless efforts of 'She' Equipment curb eve-teasing in the city and also led the launch of She Equipment in Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Ramagundam on the same lines.
The Cheif Minister expressed his desire to establish a Police Commissionerate Warangal and gave orders to that effect. "The citizens were happy and let out a sigh of relief to the way the police and launched several controlled units against gambling houses and centers 'matka'" Rao said.
