Bharat Ratna award 2014 - 2015 Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya awarded Indian Precious

SUBJECT :  Indian Precious award i.e., Bharat Ratna is declared by Out Indian Government for Two members namely Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Former Ex Indian Prime Minister for 3 times) and Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (Freedom Fighter) for the year 2014 - 2015.

                       The President's Office announced Wednesday award Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (posthumously) and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
                        The announcement was made at the event or occasion of the 90th birthday of Mr. Vajpayee and the 153rd birth anniversary of Pandit Malviya.

                         The BJP has been demanding Bharat Ratna for Mr. Vajpayee long and BJP patriarch LK Advani has been at the forefront of seeking the highest civilian honor for former prime minister.

                          Previous recipients of the award include former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Morarji Desai, Lal Bahadur Shastri, together with the first Governor General of free India C. Rajagopalachari, and former deputy prime minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.


                           Bharat Ratna Pandit A Malviya for a freedom fighter and founder of Benaras Hindu University was proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his election campaign. Justice Giridhar Malviya, the grandson of Pandit Malaviya was one of those who nominated Mr. Modi from Varanasi parliamentary election. Vajpayee's seventh prime minister to accept the award, while Pandit Malviya be the 12th person to be honored posthumously.
