SUBJECT: Sivaramakrishnan Committee Reported their New Capital state for Andhra Pradesh by this month last August 2014 to central government.
           Sivaramakrishnan Committee announced that they would submit final report on the new capital for Andhra Pradesh to the central government by month end.The committee already visited Nellore and  Visited Prakasam district on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the committee members said that they got demands from all districts in the state to form the state capital in their respective districts only. “But, no city in the state has all the necessary qualifications to become the capital for the new state. It would be better if the lands are acquired at a low price,” said the committee members.

 The committee members met people’s representatives, members of various political parties, civil society representatives, non governmental organizations and others at conference hall in the district collectorate and collected their opinions for formation of new Capital for AP State
However, they clarified that the decision of central and state governments is the final in the new capital of the state.The committee inspected the lands in Kottapatnam mandal.

YSRCP MP Y.V.Subba Reddy submitted a memorandum to the committee informing it that Donakonda is the right place for the capital.
