Dr.YSR was born on 8.7.1949, 20.01 hrs at Jammalamadugu which is in kadapa(cudappah) District.
Took over as 14th C.M of A.P. on 14th May 2004
Got re-elected as 15th C.M. in May 2009 elections.
Even though he is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and always stays in the Spot light, there are not many who know what the surname of Rajasekhara Reddy, YS means. No surprise that my Grand father who is an ardent follower of YSR and supporter of Congress party doesn’t knew the same.
Recently new stamps also released by our postal department.
Many welfare activities are done when he was is in alive.
Welfare schemes like Aorogaya sree, free current, Indhirama houses,2Rs rice, Fee Reimbursement,oldage pensions, 108 , 104....etc was started by our Rajasekhara Reddy garu in time of Congress government.When he died his son YS JAGAN wants continuee his activities.
Died in Air crash on 2nd Sep.2009 around 9 -10 a.m near Kurnool Andhra Pradesh
