Chennai : Its reported that TamilNadu cheif minister Mr.Karunanidhi will announce DMK’s 2011 election manifesto Today evening 5 pm [ 19 march 2011 ] – This manifesto is expected that it will make a turn arround in election result, since the last election’s manifesto of DMK like Agri Loan Wavier,Free Color TV were considered as the main factors of winning.
Mr.Karunanidhi told that last election’s manifesto act as a hero where current manifesto will act as heroinee in current election – But this time it expected that AIADMK will also announce its manifesto is such a way to win the election
In the election manifesto released by DMK chief M Karunanidhi, the party also promised free bus travel to senior citizens besides free laptops to SC, ST and backward class students of government and government-aided colleges.
The manifesto also promised continuation of all welfare schemes implemented by the DMK government including free distribution of colour TVs and Rs one per kg of rice
In the 2006 assembly polls, DMK's manifesto promising free colour TV, waiver of cooperative farm loans and one rupee rice scheme was instrumental in the party's victory.
